Hi I'm Zak

I'm an Eagle Scout. I shoot rifles, and am an expert rank with the NRA. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I attended college for a summer semester before receiving my mission call. My favorite hobby is rifle shooting. I have received multiple medals from the National Rifle association. I was a boy scout for five years and received my Eagle Scout award.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are both active members of the church so I was raised in the church, but at a youth I realized the blessings of being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. As I continued to go to church, participate in church activities, read the scriptures, and keep the commandments I saw that I was happier, and that doing good made me feel so much better. Even when I was going through tough times I noticed I seemed more calm and not so nervous because I knew that Jesus Christ would help me through the trials I was going through. I know that choosing to be a member of this church has made my life much more enjoyable, and I see the good that it brings.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday. When I was 17 I received a calling to be a first counselor over the youth in my ward, as well as being in charge of the boy scouting events. Once a month I go with my dad to 3 other members families in our church to check up on them, teach them a lesson relating to our church, or just participate in a fun activity with the family.
