Hi I'm Thaddeus Opfar

My name is Thad Opfar, I am from Lindon Utah. I enjoy doing things outdoors, with my family, and with my girlfriend. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a convert to the church, I was baptized in 2009. I love the outdoors and would spend all of my time there if i had the chance, I love snowmobiling, 4wheeling, camping, boating, and pretty much anything else I can enjoy outside. I love spending time with my family, and friends! I like reading occasionally, I prefer Non-Fiction but will settle for a good Fiction every now and then.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I grew up in Utah I was not a member of the church, I had grown up knowing the basics of the church but didn't fully understand everything. It wasn't until I was about 17 that I decided I wanted to learn more, I started to pray about it and had it on my mind a lot. One day I was just sitting playing video games when there was a knock at the door, my dad came in and said "the Missionaries are here and are wondering if you would like to talk to them?", of course immediately I felt like my prayers had been answered so I said "yes I would love to meet with them.". I started the Missionary discussions that day and never regretted it for one moment. At time it was tough but I made it through those times with prayer and faith that the lord would help me. I have definitely noticed a positive impact on my life, and I love the supportive community that came with it. I have a testimony that The Book of Mormon is true and that by studying and living what is taught within we can grow closer to the Lord and our savior Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being the best example to people that I can be. I continually try to learn and master new things that will help me continue to build my faith, and that I can use to help others that may be struggling with things of their own. I love reading the scriptures and finding out things that I never knew before, things that I can use to grow my faith and the faith of others that I can help be an example to.
