Hi I'm Amy E.

I am a single mom. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

As a teenager my parents divorced and I began to live a very rebellious life. Doing things that would help me forget about my troubles at home. Well this led to my teenage pregnancy. Once pregnant my "friends" and the baby's father really didn't have much interest in me anymore. As I contemplated adoption vs keeping my baby I prayed and prayed to Heavenly Father for guidance and help with this big decision. I ended up keeping and raising my baby who is now 16. I can't believe we have made it this far. It wasn't easy. I spent many nights on my knees with Heavenly Father asking for help and guidance with each life event we had. I have never married. I have made the choice, after my baby was born, to kept the Law of Chastity; and never looked back.

Why I am a Mormon

As a single mom with a very rebellious background I choose to be a member of this church because it is so fulling. I get the fullness of Jesus' teachings and priesthoods. I have and continue to understand the Atonement of Jesus Christ. As I continue to make mistakes. I know that I can be forgiven if those mistakes are made, and be blessed GREATLY when I choose not to make those mistakes. I know that Jesus is my brother and that I have a Heavenly Father and Mother. We were together before I came to Earth. I know that he knows me better than I know myself. I know that I will see them again when my time here on Earth is over. I know that we will be an Eternal Family. Me my eternal companion and all of our children.

How I live my faith

I have served many years teaching the children about Jesus. I think sometimes I learn just as much or more than they do. They are such sweet spirits and love to serve and help others just like Jesus does.
