Hi I'm Justin

I'm a mechanic. I'm a musician. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have many hobbies, mechanical, outdoor adventure, and music. Most especially music, listening and making music. If there is a good song, it speaks to me. I've played the piano since I was five, but after the sixth grade I stopped concentrating on that and put all my effort into my saxophone playing in all available concert, symphonic, and jazz bands. While juniors in high school, my friends and I started a band. Not knowing much about a guitar I picked one up and started to play the summer before. We performed in the school talent show senior year and got first prize. I also love my truck and dirt bike, maintaining them and improving them, and when duck season starts, I love being on the river with beloved family members making memories.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this church is true, it stands firm in a faltering world, and it gives me answers in times of need. The Book of Mormon is true, it never stops teaching me things, and it increasingly builds on my testimony and relationship with Jesus Christ. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet called of God, and it was by God's hand that the work was restored, and nothing can withhold the will of God. I know that there is a prophet of God on the Earth today, and his name is Thomas S. Monson, and God will speak to us through him. If we follow the prophet in all he says and does, we will find ourselves growing closer to God and Jesus Christ. What the prophet speaks is scripture for this dispensation.

How I live my faith

I have been a leader for my youth groups since I was twelve. The past two years I have been the priesthood pianist. If there is a church activity, I am there enjoying it with my friends. Because I love them and this church.
