Hi I'm McKay Byron Krey

I grew up in Clinton Utah, I'm a convert, I'm a thespian, I'm a missionary, I try my best to love everyone and I'm a Mormon

About Me

Hello, my name is McKay Krey, and I like Pina Coladas (Non-Alcoholic of course) and getting caught in the rain. Just kidding! :) I love theatre, basketball, meeting new people, and being with friends and family. I have a deep love for my Savior Jesus Christ. He is my guide, my redeemer, my brother. I love this gospel, and I know that it can bring you more peace than anything else can. I have a mission call to Reno, Nevada, and I can't wait to serve those in Nevada, and in turn serve my Father in Heaven. If you are investigating this church, I'd invite you to pray, and offer up to God, the true desires of your heart, and I know that he will answer your prayers. That's what you need to know about me. :)

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a family of five, a family of five who I love dearly. Throughout my life we did not have the Gospel in our home. And the day we finally did changed mine and my families lives for eternity. In my younger years I worshiped Power Rangers, and toaster strudels, but as I grew into young adulthood I started having questions, questions that the missionaries answered. The missionaries knocked on my door, as they have multiple times before, and they would always get the same answer; "no thank you". But this time the Elders said "Would any of your children want to learn?" my mother went and look for one her children to ask. She asked my little sister, and to my mother's surprise, she replied "Yes". As my little sister met with the missionaries my mother saw a change in my sweet little sister. And that change was from the spirit of our Heavenly Father. after hearing that my sister was baptized, my brothers basketball coach invited Noah to take the discussions, he agreed. And all while this was happening, my fathers heart of stone didn't change, until my brothers baptism. Where my fathers heart was softened enough to feel the holy spirit. Now that my whole family had done a complete 180. The only person yet to change was me. I didn't want to join, it sounded crazy, but as I met with the missionaries I started feeling peace. A peace I'd never felt before. I started praying, I truly wanted to know if it was true. I knelt down and asked God, and he gave me my answer.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying my very hardest to love every person I meet. (If you are reading this, I love you.:)) I'm serving as a ward missionary, and soon I'll be a full time missionary! I can't wait to share the gospel. I try and be an example to my friends by teaching them anything and everything I can about the gospel. I try and find a missionary opportunity every day, nothing on this earth has brought me as much joy as when I get to share my testimony. I now have a mission call to Reno, Nevada and I couldn't be happier to serve the Lord for two years. My favorite way to live my faith, is to follow our Savior, Jesus Christ, and try and do as he would do.

What do Mormons believe about family?

McKay Byron Krey
Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints believe that families are eternal. Meaning, that those that we have lost, are not lost forever. We can live with our families forever, through Heavenly Father's plan, and through his son Jesus Christ. I know that you will be able to see you loved ones again by following our Savior Jesus Christ, for the sting of death is swallowed up in Christ, if we accept him. Show more Show less
