Hi I'm Gage Ridenour

I was born in Elkhart, Indiana. I moved multiple times and have lived in Idaho and California. I'm serving a mission in Iowa.

About Me

I've moved around a lot and have lived in Indiana, California, and Idaho. I recently graduated from high school and am currently serving in the Iowa Des Moines mission. I am the second oldest of ten children. I enjoy Airsofting and watching movies (I'm a huge movie geek). I spent some time on a ballroom dancing team and have performed multiple times throughout high school!

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born and raised in a Mormon environment, my own personal conversion to the gospel did not come until later in my life. It wasn't until I'd read the Book of Mormon for myself and prayed to heavenly father that I gained my own testimony. Whenever I have doubts or question my beliefs I can always find myself returning to prayer and asking god for comfort. This comfort is what leads me to serve the church now.

How I live my faith

Currently, I am serving as a missionary in the state of Iowa. I began my mission in July of this year so I'm still pretty new. I was born into the LDS church and have made a habit of attending church activities.

What is the difference between attending a church and attending a temple?

Gage Ridenour
Churches are where we can go and learn more about the gospel. It is a public place where we can go to pray and take the sacrament. The temple is where we go to perform ordinances and make special commitments to god. Because it is very sacred, one must be interviewed before attending the temple. Show more Show less
