Hi I'm Deann Adele Harmon

I grew up in Burley Idaho. I am now married and have a little baby. I am a stay at home mom and an online student. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to my best friend and together we have created another best friend, our little daughter. He and I both came from large families (He came from a family of 9 children and I came from a family of 11) and we look forward to many more children that have yet to come to our family. I am a stay at home mom and an online student. I love to learn. I love almost anything outdoors such as hiking, camping, swimming, and playing ultimate Frisbee. I love to sing and dance with my husband. I am a total health nut.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in an LDS home, and as I got older and I obtained a testimony of my own of the truthfulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I remember wondering why I was placed in the family that I was and why I had the blessing of this Gospel all of my life. I hope it is because I will be a tool in the Lord's hands to aid in the sharing of the truth to those who have not had the hope of this gospel. I know with all my heart that this, the gospel of Jesus Christ, is true. The Lord is at its head. I also know that through Joseph Smith Jr., a true prophet of God, this gospel has been restored to us. I have been blessed so very much by this gospel in so many ways. Because I know it is true I can not deny it and because I know of the joy and blessings it has brought me I want to help others to know and feel this joy as well.

How I live my faith

I go to church and worship the Lord on Sunday.I have been called to be a visiting teacher. I try to read the Book of Mormon everyday personally and with my family. I pray to my Heavenly Father to know things that I can do to be better. I try to serve those around me every chance I see a need.
