Hi I'm McKenzie

Born and raised in Montana. Played college soccer in New Mexico. I'm a movie/TV nerd. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Montana. I loved playing soccer as a kid and developed a true passion for it! I fulfilled my dream of playing college soccer (for 2 years) despite having some breathing issues. I love modern technology and media. "See the movie or read the book?" A: Definitely see the movie. I love embracing my crazy weird side with going on spontaneous adventures or doing random activities. There is so much the world has to offer, we just have venture out and find it! The adventure which I am about to embark on is serving a full time mission in Peru! I could not be more excited to dedicate the next 18 months to doing the Lord's work and sharing what I know to be true and makes me happy!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church but I have still been converted. I chose for myself to be a part of it. I did this because I have felt the the comfort, guidance, and promptings of the Holy Ghost and I know for myself that this is Christ's church on the earth today. Our Heavenly Father loves us far to much to leave us on the earth without any kind of guidance or way to get back to live with him. The gospel has helped me so much in my life. It is a comfort to know where I came from, where I am now and what I'm doing here, and where I'm going. Through the atonement of Jesus Christ we can be forgiven of our sins. How great of a blessing that is. Sometimes it might seem like there is a lot asked of us, and some things might seem insignificant and trivial, but I know that when we follow ALL of God's commandments and listen to the words of his prophets we will be blessed and be able to live in his presence someday. That is why I am a happily proud member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to share the happiness the gospel brings me with others. I try to be a good positive example to those around me by doing and living what I believe. I am a firm believer in being friendly towards people and that just being happy around others makes a huge difference. I also live my faith by helping serve others. After all, we are all brothers and sisters and God's children. We're all going through this earth life together and it's that much better if we help one another out.
