Hi I'm BreeAnn Guzman

country girl. All-state runner/Athlete, crossfitter. I'm A Mormon

About Me

I'm a daughter and sister of two brothers. As of right now, I will be attending college after serving 18 months in Canada Toronto. I have been a runner since I was in middle school and love the track, and when I was a sophmore I began to run cross country. My junior year I was able to be an all-state runner in my home state and placed 10th overall. I love cross-fitting and doing active things. I'm ALWAYS looking for new adventures and new things to do in life. I love my family and my amazing pets.

Why I am a Mormon

This Church makes me unexplainably happy. I'm considered a convert since I got baptized at the age of nine but I didn't really grow up in it after that. when I first was going I felt uncomfortable and confused about things that members were talking about. I don't like asking questions and soon the easiest thing I felt was to just not go. The older I got though, my family and I would try and make some days and then we wouldn't come for months at a time. When I was in high school we started to go a lot more almost every sunday, I still didn't understand though and sometimes getting me to go to church was like trying to move a mountain. my senior year, some situations took place that made me completely mad at the church, I wanted to stop going all together and never come back. One sunday I vowed to make it my last and during that session, there were people giving there testimony of what they believed and how they felt about being LDS. I started to think about the important things to me and I could only think of two that really were important. Then I realized, I never really put any effort into trying to learn what this gospel was about. I decided that I was going to read the whole book of mormon for the first time and I told myself that I had to do this or I would never know. I started to build my testimony and understand more, I started to listen during meetings and participate in activities. I have never felt so on top of the world in my life. During that time I was truly converted and I'll always be grateful for the trials that really caused me to understand. I know now that Heavenly father and Jesus Christ love us more than we can understand and I will always hold on to this truth because then I'm never alone. I love the temple and being able to go inside. Its the most comforting place in the world. Like I said, this church makes me unexplainably happy. There isn't anything in this world that makes me feel this much joy. I love it!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to all events that my ward will set up. I love going to church on sunday and being able to take the sacrament and enjoy being around others who are happy and so loving. I have been a laural president and other callings throughout young womens. Right now I have been called to a FHE group which helps plan activities for the Young Singles, and I love coming up with fun ideas or having people give me ideas that they would love to paricipate in.
