Hi I'm Cecilie

Student and an outdoor enthusiast. I'm a mormon and I love it! ~ Adriatic South Mission 2016-2017 ~

About Me

I grew up with reindeers and mosquitoes, under the northern lights and the midnight sun. I love traveling and I wish I could see the whole world! I also love hiking. Any hiking trip is a good hiking trip, whether it's -30°C with skiis on, or under the midnight sun in summer. That's because I get to feel and see the fantastic nature we're blessed with on this earth. I also spend a lot of time with my familiy, who are (wait for it..) the coolest people I know!

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptised in 2010. In the only right way, in the only true church, and by the right authority. It's a day I'll never forget. I've never in my life felt so clean and peaceful inside. So why am I a mormon? That's easy. I love the church, I love the gospel, I love The Book of Mormon and how it has helped me through tough times and inspired me to be better. I love my family, and the fact that I'll be able to live with them for all eternity is a blessing bigger than my understanding. I'm a mormon because it makes me happy. I'm a mormon because I chose to be. I'm a mormon because I love the prophet. I love the church, I love the gospel, I love the temple and I love the happy people I get to meet every sunday. It is the best!

How I live my faith

I grew up in church, and I've always considered myself as a member, even though I was baptised only a few years ago. Every day I try my best to live up to the commandments, and I always keep the Savior in mind whenever I make choices. I try to learn new things everyday and keep an open mind. I love the gospel, and I'm so proud of where I come from and that I've finally found the courage to stand up for who I am and what I believe in. I'm so grateful for the seed of faith that my mother planted, and that I learned how to nurture it. It all starts with a little faith! I wish every person in the world could experience this happiness, and that's why I'm serving a fulltime mission!
