Hi I'm Emma Rae

I'm from Colorado. I am a song writer and performer. I love ice cream and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student. I travel the country and sing to those of my same faith and other faiths promoting good music and good standards/morals. I have been in a band and have music on iTunes. I am engaged to be married to the most amazing man. I was a little bit of a rebel in my life and went through some pretty rough things. I have made a lot of bad choices. I have seen people's lives change because of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I LOVE ice cream. Im from Colorado!! I love the mountains. I hate cats. I love dogs. Im allergic to nothing but HATE peas. They are gross. I love to be good at things and I used to be extremely selfish and conceited. I love good music...which means I'm not a big fan of country music. (haha) I love Jesus Christ and all that he has done for me and I know that he is real and that he is my friend. He knows me by name and i can ask anything from God because he LONGS to help me. I love my family and I love good hearted, hard working people. I have a hard time being happy for people, especially when those people were mean to me or treated me or my family wrong. But this church helps me to love one another and treat them as Christ would. :)

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because this church and the atonement of Jesus Christ is the only thing that can make you truly happy. You can spend years and years trying to find something that will make you more happy...but I promise you, you won't. I spent many years finding some other kind of "thing" that was going to make me more happy. I blew off good people, family and righteousness to find some thing that would work. After years of struggling to find what would bring me the most happiness, I came back to this gospel and the Atonement of Jesus Christ and I was changed. From head to toe. Embraced with love, compassion, forgiveness and kindness. Not just from people around me and church leaders, but from God, Jesus Christ and the comforting gift of the Holy Spirit. I KNOW that God is real. I know that he sent his son to die for us on the cross. I know that Jesus Christ suffered an Atonement so that we may be forgiven of our sins and come back to the fold of God. I know that this church was restored after it was taken from the earth. I know that Joseph Smith was that prophet chosen by God to lead and guide that restored church and that he translated the Book of Mormon so that we could have more doctrine to learn from and help us on our quest for happiness. I know that we have a living prophet today. President Thomas S. Monson. He is real and he receives revelation for our church now. I know that the Atonement of Jesus Christ is real. I have felt it, seen it and witnessed it through my own life. I know that if you struggle with addiction, it can be covered by the Atonement. If you struggle with pride, depression, hatred, sadness, the law of chastity, drinking, drugs, mistreatment of any kind, or any sin that can be done by, to or witnessed by humans, that it can be helped and covered through the atonement of Jesus Christ. Stop wasting your time. Its time for you to be happy. Choose God. Choose Jesus Christ. Choose happiness through the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday and teach a Gospel Doctrine class. I participate in a traveling vocal group called, The Fading Point, promoting good morals and standards and giving them a taste of some awesome music! We teach workshops about the principles of the LDS church and I love doing service for my fellow brothers and sisters.
