Hi I'm Sister Hannah Quinn

I was born and raised in Naperville, Illinois. I'm a sister, a daughter, an aunt, and a Missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Naperville, Illinois, right outside of Chicago. I am the youngest of five and an aunt of nine. I love to run, play basketball, and read. My parents and siblings are my best friends and my greatest support. I am just finishing up my freshman year at Brigham Young University and will be serving a mission this August in the Utah Provo Mission. I am studying business at BYU and I cannot wait to be a missionary! I would rather be in the mountains than at the beach, my favorite way to pass time is by laughing, and if I had the option I would have autumn all year long.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised within this Church. I was baptized at the age of eight. There came a point in my life however where I had to decide if what I had been taught was true. So I decided to pray and ask Heavenly Father if this was the true church. My experience was extremely powerful and personal but I can now say exactly why I am a Mormon. I'm a Mormon because I know it's God's true church restored on the Earth today. I know that Joseph Smith saw God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. I know that Joseph Smith was able to translate The Book of Mormon by the help of God and that The Book of Mormon is another Testament of Jesus Christ. I am so grateful for The Book of Mormon and the lessons that it teaches. I know that we have a Prophet on the Earth today, President Thomas S. Monson, who still receives revelations for our time from our Heavenly Father. I know that Jesus Christ, my brother and friend lives! And because of my experience I know that Heavenly Father listens and answers prayers. I love this Gospel. It gives me so much hope and joy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday, in every choice, and in every opportunity. I am a leader in my church where I plan activities and serve the people that are my age. I continually give service to those in need and exemplify what it means to be a Mormon by being kind, honest, and virtuous. I love going to BYU because I am able to take religion classes and learn about this amazing gospel. Everyday I try to live like our Savior did and be the person He would want me to be.
