Hi I'm Nick

I committed myself to 14 years of gymnastics, and became a two time Junior Olympic National Competitor, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in an LDS home, with one brother and two sisters. Ever since I was four, I have been doing gymnastics and have gone twice now to the Junior Olympic National Championships. On side of that, I have been playing musical instruments almost all of my life. Ranging from piano to drums to nearly every brass instrument. I was always involved in the school wind ensemble and as well jazz band, and played in them competitively. I have now given up sports, and turned my focus to serving the lord. I report November 19th 2014, and will be serving in Brazil, Brasilia.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I chose to be. The gospel is the single most greatest part of my life, and without it i can not tell anyone where my life would be. The blessing cannot possibly be counted for there are to many that come from serving the lord and his children. I was born into an LDS family, and at that point I probably went to church only because my parents told me to. I read the scriptures only because my parents told me to. Well that is not the case anymore! I do all these things now because I WANT TO. I love my heavenly father and he will always be there for me when I need it.

How I live my faith

I try my hardest to keep myself as involved as possible in all church related activities, ranging from service projects to festive gatherings of my fellow LDS members, because no matter where I am, if I am surrounded by members of this church, the spirit will always be there and that is the feeling I love.

What is being a Mormon like?

It is amazing! To be surrounded by a community of fantastic people who have all the same beliefs, same standards, and respect for anyone is just an incredible state of being. LDS members are the most accepting group of people I've ever met! Show more Show less
