Hi I'm Sydney

I am a convert to the church and I am currently serving in the Virginia Richmond Mission. I love to laugh and I am a Mormon!

About Me

I am a new member to the church and I'm currently a missionary! While in high school I played softball and was on the national honors society. I enjoy boating, reading, nearly any sport and baking. I love making each day a new adventure, meeting new people and developing friendships.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because at the age of 15 I enrolled myself in seminary. I loved the happiness and spirit that could be felt in class. At the age of 17 I began taking lessons from the missionaries and was baptized. Since my baptism my testimony has strengthened as I have utilized the Atonement and have come to know my Savior, Jesus Christ. Being a member of the church means that I am never alone, know what The Lord has in store for me, understand both where I come from and will go after this earthly life, can be sealed to my family for eternity, and have the blessing of being guided by a modern day prophet. As a Disciple of Jesus Christ I want everyone else in the world to have this same knowledge so that they can receive these same blessings. Living according to high gospel standards and keeping an eternal view on my life will help me obtain the glory on the Celestial Kingdom. I am a Mormon because I want to return to living with my Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ!

How I live my faith

During my senior year of high school I was the Laurels President and helped to both serve and guide the young women in the church. Upon graduating, I have been called to serve in the nursery where I play with and teach kids ages 18 mos.-3 years how church can be fun and spiritual! In addition to attending sacrament, I often go to temple or mission prep classes, attend the temple weekly, and served as a female youth leader of my stake where I organized activities for the young adults.
