Hi I'm Warren

I'm 19 years old. I love to sing. I am serving a mission in Iowa. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been a member of the church my whole life. Although I am from Idaho, I spent most of my time growing up in Maryland and Connecticut. We were living in Connecticut when my dad passed away. I was 11 years old. My family and I then moved to Idaho to get closer to family. There I found the best friends that I have ever had. They have helped me to grow and learn and to keep my standards high. Now I am serving a mission for the Church in Iowa. Some of my favorite things to do are to read, mess around on piano, go camping, listen to music, play soccer and ultimate, play harmonica and hangout with friends and family. I also love to sing with a passion and I love to laugh. My family means so much to me. I have four brothers and one sister, I'm the baby of the family. Growing up was just one crazy big family and I absolutely loved it. My mother is the most important woman in my life. She has been the greatest single contributor to my life and the person I am today. I adore my mother and hold her in the highest regard. She is an example to me of courage, faith, obedience, love and charity and trust. At this time in my life there is no place I would rather be in this world than where I am right now, devoting my life to the will of my Father in Heaven.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I have found happiness here. I believe in Jesus Christ, that He knows and loves me personally, and that if all the people in the world were to forsake me and forget about me, there is one who would not and that is my Savior, Jesus Christ. This church explains in detail and with clear reasons, the answers to some of life's greatest questions. It just makes sense :) I have seen great blessings in my life, which I know I would not have if I were not a member of this Church. This Church teaches to follow Christ, to live one's life in accordance with His teachings and to become the best we can be by relying on the Lord. I have seen that as I do this, I am more able to accomplish the many responsibilities in life. I am more able to cope with and understand and learn from the challenges and difficulties that I face in my life as well. I have seen that I am happier. You will not find a happier people anywhere on earth than those that follow Christ and live by His teachings. I am happy to say that I am a Mormon because I have received revelation from a loving God that this the true church. I have grown up in this gospel and many times I have wondered if it were actually true. Each time I think back to my experiences that testify of its truth. I have asked God if this Church is true, and I have felt the confirmation that it is. I believe what I have felt. I believe in Jesus Christ, and I will do everything in my power to follow Him. You can ask too, to know for yourself if it is true :) Your Father in Heaven and His son Jesus Christ love you and they will answer your sincere prayer to know the truth.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a mission in Des Moines Iowa for the Church. This is one of the greatest experiences I have ever had in my life. Where I can devote all of my time and effort, my heart and my might, mind and strength to serve God and to serve others. I wake up at 6:30 every morning and prepare for the day. At 8:00 I begin my studies of the gospel and of Jesus Christ. Starting at 12:00 I go out with my companion to share a message of joy and happiness with whoever is willing to listen. My day is marked by frequent fervent prayer, wonderful teaching opportunities and acts of service for people and for the community. My purpose as a missionary is to invite others to come unto Christ, through faith in Jesus Christ, repentance, baptism and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost. I strive everyday to fulfill my purpose because I know of the wonderful blessings that come from following the example of Christ and I want everyone to have the opportunity to receive those blessings. All of the difficulties in my life are swallowed up in the joy that I have a Savior and He has made it possible for me to have the greatest happiness and relief in this life and in life after I die. I do my best everyday to become more like my Savior, Jesus Christ and to follow His example to love unconditionally, help those who stand in need and share the glorious news of the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I live my faith everyday. I am a disciple of Christ. I love this Church and the happiness it has brought to me and to my family and I know that everyone can have this happiness if they will come unto Christ and have faith in Him and live according to His teachings.
