Hi I'm Sam

I grew up in Idaho. I am serving a mission in Mexico. When I return to the states I will attend school at BYU. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the fourth child in a family of six. I played tennis and ran cross country in high school. I love to snowboard, ski, and disc golf. I also love music. I've played the string bass for many years, and participated in several choirs. I fly radio control gliders. I am going to BYU for my undergraduate degree. I am an uncle with one niece, but there is a nephew on the way.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe in God. I believe in Jesus Chirst. I believe in the Holy Ghost. I believe that God and Jesus Christ appeared to the Prophet Joseph Smith and gave him instructions to organize the LDS church. I believe the teachings of God and Jesus Christ are found in the LDS church, and they have changed my life. The gospel has brought me happiness and peace. I have felt God in my life, and I want to share what I have felt with others.

How I live my faith

I serve in my ward as a home teacher to two families. Once a month, my companion and I visit both families in their homes and visit with them. We also volunteer our time to help them with any tasks they need extra help with throughout the month if need be. In October, I will be leaving for two years to serve a mission in southern Mexico. While I am serving, I will live in many towns and cities and spend each and every day by inviting others to come unto christ by telling them about the LDS church and it's teachings.
