Hi I'm Maddie

I'm a daughter, wife, and mother. I'm a homebody, I'm a musician, I'm a crafter. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hey! My name is Maddie. I love music - I even have a college degree in the subject. I am a wife, and while I was finishing school, became a mother of a rambunctious little boy. I spend a lot of time at home with my family. It is my favorite place to be! I also like to keep my hands busy with sewing, crochet, or other small projects that will improve my home.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because even through personal trial, I still believe the teachings are true and good and make my life better. Some may say it is foolish to believe in something you can't see, to believe that living by religious standards can bring a greater sense of peace and freedom. There have been times in my life where I have been very angry at God, wondering why things in my life happened as they did. But I could never stop believing that He is there. I am a Mormon because when I dedicate myself to living by the teachings of the gospel, I feel His love for me. I feel known, I feel safe, I feel wanted, I feel important. And I know that no matter what happens in the future, or what happened in the past, my existence on the earth has an eternal purpose and if I trust in God, he will never lead me astray!

How I live my faith

Each Sunday, I lead the young children in singing Primary songs - religious songs written especially for kids. I love how these songs are so simple, so full of truth, and they stick with you forever. I am grateful to be able to share my great love of music with children each week! Sometimes I lead music or participate in special musical numbers during meetings. I love having a place where I am able to cultivate and share my talents with others in a way that uplifts and blesses lives.
