Hi I'm Emma Alcazar

I am food lover, an amateur writer, & I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a daughter of a wonderful father and an amazing mother. My parents were both born and raised in Bolivia, and I am proud of the culture I was raised in. I have a weird love for mathematics and sciences involving it. Family means so much to me and I cherish each and everyone of my siblings. I am the third oldest of four. I attended a semester at the University of Utah and the next adventure awaits me in Ecuador while serving my LDS mission. I am so excited about the things life has to offer all of us. :)

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I choose to follow Him. I grew up in the church and was baptized when I was 8. My family had ups and downs with our attendance when I was growing up, but we always understood the values that we had. My mother was born into the church also while my father was a convert in his teens. I am a Mormon because even as a little kid you know the truth by the feeling in your heart and the pride in every single day you have. I know I am a child of God and that my Heavenly Father loves me. I knew it the day I looked in the mirror and said it for the first time. "I am a child of God, and he has sent me here, has given me an earthly home with parents kind and dear."

How I live my faith

I attend my church regularly and I love it every time. I am involved in the fun activities we have weekly, and I am also one who enjoys talking to new faces when I can. I have been a camp leader to young girls on week long adventures. & I am serving an LDS mission in the year 2014. I could not be more excited. Throughout the years I have been able to be an assistant to those who needed help planning visits and also trying to come up with fun ideas to bring everyone a fun and rewarding experience!

What is faith?

Faith to me is being able to go along day by day with the knowledge that things always work out as they should. Show more Show less
