Hi I'm Jordan Wood

I grew up on a ranch in Mountain View, Alberta. I love the mountains and all things beautiful. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the outdoors, hiking and climbing mountains, playing sports and spending time with my family and friends. I especially love to travel and to explore places I've never been and to meet new people. I spend every summer in Waterton Lakes National Park, and have recently been called to serve as missionary for the Church in the Peru Chiclayo Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because the Gospel makes me happy and I know God's plan is the only way I can return to him and to be with my family for eternity. I am thankful for the Atonement and for the opportunity I have to repent for the mistakes I have made and for the sacrifice Christ made for my sake and for the sake of others. I am thankful for His example of service and of love. For the knowledge that I can be with my family forever. Especially coming from a non-member family; it gives me hope and faith that I can be with my family even after death. There is nothing more important to me then my family, and I want to do everything I can do be with them again. I am a Mormon because I love my Lord, I love this gospel, and because I know this is truth, and that He will lead the way to eternal life. I am a Mormon because it's who God wants me to be.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by continuously trying to be an example of Christ and by inviting others to come unto Him. By loving and serving how Christ would serve and accepting callings in my Church that will give me opportunities to do so. By loving everyone despite the mistakes I have made or that they have made. God loves us all equally and wants us all to return to him, and I want to help others return to Him.
