Hi I'm Rachel

I'm a daughter of a loving Heavenly Father. I'm a sister missionary. I'm a Registered Nurse. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a 5'1 (and a half) girl with a love of people and life! As a teen, I worked at the Christa McAuliffe Space Education Center where I helped run spaceship simulations for kids. Later I graduated from Utah Valley University with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing and worked at Primary Children's Hospital as Registered Nurse on the Medical Unit. Currently, I'm going to serve a mission in Texas speaking Spanish.

Why I am a Mormon

Both of my parents were found by Mormon missionaries, meaning only my siblings and I grew up in this church. This also meant I was able to be blessed as a baby, be baptized at 8, and prepare to enter the holy temple as a young adult. After seeing the differences in my life from growing up with such strong moral values and beliefs, I can see how much of an impact it has made in my life. It has even given my life purpose and direction. The impact has been so strong that I am leaving on a mission for this church to show and give that to others. I know from being a Mormon that God is my loving Heavenly Father, that I can be with my family forever, and that I am here on this Earth to grow and be happy. All of this is possible through the restoration of the gospel through Joseph Smith who restored the church that was on the Earth when Christ was here. Even though things in this world can be hard, heartbreaking, scary, or even sad, I know all can be made right through my Savior and his teachings which is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an examples to others of what I believe.
