Hi I'm Megan Elizabeth Sharpe

I am a Mormon! I am currently serving my mission in Huston, Texas Spanish Speaking!!

About Me

I am a Californian Cowgirl. I have horses and cows you could say I live on a farm. I love being outdoors and spending quality with my family and friends. I am enrolled at BYUI, where I am working on my bachelors in Animal Science. I love to travel and hoping to visit many countries.

Why I am a Mormon

I wasn’t raised Mormon, but I had some background in the faith. My father was an inactive member and my Mother was Catholic. It wasn’t till I was 7 years old and we moved that the church became a part of our families life. Like ever typical story the missionaries found us and well you know the rest. But when I truly gained a testimony that this church was true was sophomore year of high school. It was difficult to attend earlier morning seminary and I had no idea what the purpose of everything was. I was in a rut caught in between being in the world or of the world. I had to ask myself some really hard questions of where I wanted to see my life headed. I knew all I wanted was happiness and where I felt that happiness was with the gospel and when I was living the standards and following the commandment and doing it willingly instead of grudgingly, that's when I truly find happiness and my Savior.

How I live my faith

In my daily life being an example is everything. I try and go throughout the day as best I can to be one for my younger sisters. But when you think of it the best example that we have to follow is Christ. He is a selfless individual that loves us unconditional. And when we center our lives and actions towards him, the blessings of joy and happiness are tremendous.
