Hi I'm Dayton van Uitert

I grew up in Utah. I love playing sports and being outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 6'6" and I love playing basketball, riding fourwheelers and dirt bikes dirt bikes. I also enjoy playing video games. I plan on attending college after my mission. I would like to attend BYU Idaho. I absolutely love music. I am very open minded when it comes to music. I love it all... Well most of it.

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to follow His gospel because I know of the blessings it brings to my life. I don't even know where I would be in my life if I didn't have this gospel. I was born in a Mormon family so i have been taught since I was just a wee lad about the different concepts of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have a testimony of the atonement. I know that Jesus Christ died on the cross so that we can be forgiven of our sins and eventually come to live with God again. I am so grateful for that gift because I am in no aspects perfect. I am in constant need of the power of repentance. I know that there is a living prophet this day and that he is called of God to lead and guide us according to Gods will. I know Thomas S. Monson is a true prophet, and I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet. I also have a testimony of prayer. I know that if we ask we a sincere heart and with pure intent, that we will receive answers to our prayers. I am so grateful for the Priesthood and the blessings that it brings to my life. I know that families can be together forever. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and can give us important insights to keep us on the straight and narrow path back to our Heavenly Father. I am so grateful for the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints. And I leave my testimony with you in the name of our beloved savior, Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

I have just recently been asked to serve as 2nd counselor for the young men in our branch.
