Hi I'm Braylee

I grew up in Washington state. I love ballroom dancing, smiling, and meeting new people. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am currently a student. I love dancing and watching dancing whether it be ballroom, ballet, hip hop, anything!! I love to bake pies, cakes, muffins, bread, croissants, and of course new recipes. Learning about new cultures and people excite me. One of my favorite things to do is family history and genealogy. I have two older sisters and a younger brother, and I couldn't be happier.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in Christ, Heavenly Father, and the Book of Mormon. I know that we have a loving Father in heaven, and we are his children. We are on this earth to learn, grow and become just like him. Our amazing brother, Jesus Christ, died for us, so that we could return to our Heavenly Father again. Christ's sacrifice, the Atonement, allows us to be better people every day. We can make mistakes, and that's okay! How comforting it is to know that we don't have to be perfect, but we do have to work hard. I believe that the Book of Mormon is another true testament of Jesus Christ. How blessed we are, to have more revelation, more insight aligned with the Old and New Testament. I grew up in this wonderful church which has encompassed me in an environment of love, and acceptance. Life is not easy, but the Lord has blessed us with each other to get through it with joy, and attain experiential knowledge we would never come to understand without being here today. As said before, my whole life I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, but that doesn't mean I don't have a conversion story. I have always believed that this church is true, but I am reminded and converted in small ways every day. When I notice the tender mercies from the Lord, when I finished reading the Book of Mormon for the first time, the day I got baptized, every time I apply the atonement and try to be better, I feel the same spirit of love from our Heavenly Father. This holy spirit has and continues to strengthen my faith in this church. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by loving others. At church, I am one of the coordinators who supervise the service that goes on among the sisters. I check that everyone is included and has the help they need. Everyone deserves a friend to call upon, and I make sure that each sister in my group has just that. I also live my faith by serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Others deserve to know how happy we can be with our beloved Savior, Jesus Christ. Share the love!
