Hi I'm Logan

I'm a student. I am preparing to serve a mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a high school student, and I also take college classes. I enjoy learning, and school is just one way I can fulfill my desire to learn. I also love to serve others, and that's why I am going to serve a mission. I have many hobbies which include welding, carpentry, and computers, among other things.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I follow Jesus Christ. I love this gospel, and the joy it brings me. I know it is true because I have learned it for myself, through prayer and the witness of the Holy Ghost. Over the years as a member in this church, my testimony of it's truthfulness continues to grow, as does my love for others. As I have listened to and lived it's teachings, I have become much happier, and my purpose in life has become more evident. Also, I have felt the love our savior, Jesus Christ expresses to each and every one of us, and the love of our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by example. As I follow Jesus' example, my faith grows, and that can make an impact on others. I find joy in teaching others about my beliefs and about this church. Sometimes, I have the opportunity to teach and share the gospel with other youth in Sunday meetings, seminary, or in school. Those opportunities to share bring me lots of joy and happiness. We have been given commandments to live. These commandments are for our own good, and when we follow them we find joy and freedom. Every time I make a good decision, I have even more freedom to choose. By living by these standards, I can see the blessings in my life, as well as in others'. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I have a great personal love for the scriptures. As a Christian, I believe that the Holy Bible is the word of God, and was given for the benefit of all mankind. One of my favorite scriptures, 2 Timothy 3:16, is from the Bible and reads, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness." I believe this scripture, and have seen many blessings in my life from reading the scriptures. As a Latter-Day Saint, I also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God. I have a personal testimony of the Book of Mormon, and have read it many times and felt the great influence of the Holy Spirit. I believe that the Book of Mormon is a companion to the Bible, a second witness of my Savior, Jesus Christ. Together they form a great and undeniable witness of the Savior of mankind, and provide wisdom and guidance for us today.
