Hi I'm Cindy

I have lived most of my life in Utah. I am a wife, mother and grandmother. I am a Mormon.

About Me

My family is the most important thing in my life. I love to spend time with my husband, children and grandchildren. I am interested in everything. I love to read, I love the outdoors, I love to travel and I love to create. I have worked for our local school district for many years and enjoyed working with the teachers and children in our area. I have recently retired so now I am looking for new adventures. I hope I can continue to be useful and helpful to my family and others.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Mormon Church but remember walking into church one day when I was a young woman and knowing that this is where I belong. Being a Mormon has blessed my life. I love my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I know that Jesus gave his life for me. He is my Savior and Redeemer. He loves me and all of God's children. We don't have to be perfect to merit His love. But because I know he has suffered for me I try to do better each day. My life has not always been easy but everything that gives me joy has come to me through my beliefs.

How I live my faith

I teach Sunday School to 10 teenage boys and girls. They are a lot of fun but are also a challenge to teach. I love them. It is wonderful because I am learning along with them. I love trying to find ways to teach them and help them understand the gospel. I love hearing about what is going on in their lives and how they are learning and growing. I visit with other women in my neighborhood to share a gospel message and ask if I can be of service to them. Sometimes I bake a treat for them or make dinner for them if they are sick or in need. I attend our local temple regularly and I am learning about my family history. I study the scriptures and pray to my Father in Heaven so I can feel close to Him and be guided by Him. My husband and I are now preparing to serve a mission as senior missionaries. We are very excited about this opportunity. We know we will be sent where we are needed and where we can do some good.
