Hi I'm Annie

I'm a musician. I'm an actress. I'm a lover of ice cream. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second oldest of eight crazy kids. I've lived in Arizona all my life and absolutely love November through February when it's actually remotely cold! Regardless of the heat, however, I enjoy spending time outdoors, especially hiking, running, and weekend 007 games with friends. I'm also a choir kid, a band geek, a theater girl, and a piano nerd, which makes for a very fun and busy life!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was baptized at the common age of 8. For a while, though, I struggled with whether or not the Church was for me. However, during that period of my life during which I stopped reading my scriptures and praying, I felt like I was lost and missing something. I was grumpy all the time and I was quick to judge. Pretty soon, I figured out that I was so unhappy because I was not living the Gospel, so I worked to get my life back on track. And I have been all the better since! I know that true, genuine happiness can be found only through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I also know that the high standards we members choose to live are worth it. I'm not going to lie. It's hard to live such standards when it's not quite what the world supports and recommends, but it's so worth it! It shows me that I can be strong when facing trials, and it helps me to grow closer to my Heavenly Father. I also know that the Book of Mormon is the word of the Lord. It brings direction and light into my life and into the lives of many others, as well. I am a Mormon because it makes me happy and helps me to make good decisions and my life has been blessed immensely for it!

How I live my faith

I live my faith through my actions. I am currently without a calling, so I spend my time serving others and developing relationships with ward members, family, and friends. I love helping others, whether it's through a simple smile or "hello", some secret yard work, or some help with schoolwork. I enjoy serving others because it brings me closer to my Savior, Jesus Christ, and it helps me to become more like Him. Also, it makes me happy! I believe that nothing brings more genuine happiness than serving the Lord's children, and serving Him through that.
