Hi I'm Adam

I'm from Florida. Student of BYU in Provo, UT. Fisherman, singer, sports-fanatic, and current full-time missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 21 years-old and served a full-time mission sharing the Gospel of JesUs Christ with the people of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Now, you might find me fishing on the banks of the Indian River in my hometown of Melbourne, Florida, or perhaps spontaneously adventuring in the mountains near my secondary home of Provo, Utah, where I am studying at Brigham Young University. I plan to continue studying as long as I can; I love learning and thus have yet to decide what career or major I might persue. I love playing and watching sports...I´m an avid fan both profesional and college sports, rooting for the Orlando Magic, Tampa Bay Rays, San Francisco Giants, Florida Gators, and San Francisco 49ers (my dad hails from NorCal, hence my love for San Francisco teams). Singing, video-editing, and writing are some of my more artistic abilities, though I enjoy delving in a variety of different pastimes and am always up for a new adventure. I find traveling and sight-seeing fascinating, especially if it means I´ll be able to "cop some sick pics", as I have been known to say regarding my cell-phone photography skills. Country music is great, as is rap. I really enjoy all styles of music, and the same goes for movies. I believe the best meals are consumed alongside one´s closest friends, preferably at a really good burger joint or Mexican restaurant. I hit the gym and lift weights with my buddies so as to eat often in such establishments.

Why I am a Mormon

Having been taught the principles of the Gospel from a young age by loving parents who were also "born into the Church," I´d say I developed a testimony of Christ´s true church quite early in my life. A testimony, no matter how firm, should and will be tested, as I absolutely saw as I grew up attending the church and practicing its teachings with my family. I chose to be baptized a member and chose now to continue living the Gospel because I have seen the blessings, peace, and security that Jesus Christ and His church bring to my family, and I have seen and experienced the effects of living without those blessings. EVERYONE needs the love that is only found through the Gospel of Jesus Christ in their life, and I without-a-doubt need it in mine . And that´s why I´m a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Obviously, being on an LDS Mission is the focus of my life for the moment, and as I serve I hope to live and magnify my own faith in the Gospel of JesUs Christ. As a missionary, I dedicate 100% of my time to helping others to receive the peace and blessings of this great Gospel, through teaching and testifying of its truthfullness. Before coming here to Argentina, I participated in various community and church activities that have helped me prepare for these 2 years of missionary service. My participation as a youth in the Boy Scouts of America program and in the leadership of priesthood quorums in my Ward back home helped me to discover my faith and value in the eyes of God. Here in the mission I´m learning daily how to trust more and more in Him as I face challenges and see constant displays of miracles.
