Hi I'm Oh, Hyeongseok

Hi guys! My name is Hyeongseok Oh, from South Korea. Indeed, I am a Mormon!

About Me

I was born in Seoul, Korea, and had been brought up in Catholic. However,I joined this church in March 2012. Now I'm 20 years old and serving as a full-time missionary in England London South Mission! Absolutely, I love to serve the Lord!

Why I am a Mormon

Before joined this church, I already had some bad prejudices about this church so I worried about my younger sister to be baptized. However, when I met missionaries, I got to know it was just my misunderstanding. Their testimonies and teachings about the restored Gospel; The book of Mormon were so impressive and amazing to me. Honestly, I cannot remember specifically what they said to me when they bore their testimonies but I can say one thing certainly. I know through Holy Ghost that the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is restored true church on the earth today and also the book of Mormon is word of God. I testify Joseph Smith was the prophet of God. Regardless of how many times those who have read the book of Mormon, whoever can know the book of Mormon is true when they read the book and then pray to ask God with sincere heart, real intent, and having faith in Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

As a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I'm always trying to keep high standards to show a good example to others. Such as simply reading scripture daily, often praying, doing good to all man and so on. However, the most important thing that I think is to attend sacrament meeting every week. By partaking in sacred bread and water, I can renew my covenant with our Heavenly Father and also try to remember the Atonement of Christ so I am able to be applied on his Atonement. Through this, definitely I know I can be closer to him than before day by day.
