Hi I'm Ben

I am a missionary, a US Marine, and a Mormon.

About Me

I am a missionary in the Micronesia, Guam mission. I am also in the United States Marine Corps. I am an infantry man by trade and specialize in mortars. Before I came on my mission I was in a Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion. I will go back to that after my mission and also attend college. I want to study acting and see where that takes me. I love my family more than anything and can't wait to be a dad someday. I love challenges and plan to have an exciting life until the day I die.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. I didn't really understand what that meant. My family was a great example to me. Because of my parents I came on a mission. I put off the Marines for 2 years and headed out to Micronesia. It was here in the thick jungle of Pohnpei where I found and built my testimony. Now I am a Mormon because I know with complete certainty that this church is the exact same church that Jesus Christ built when he lived on Earth. It has His priesthood. And He leads his church in these days.

How I live my faith

My faith is everything to me. I am so grateful for my Savior and His Atonement. I love that people can change and that I can change. I am not perfect, that's for sure, but because of Jesus Christ I can become better and more like Him everyday. This church is true, there's not a doubt in my mind. We have a living prophet to help us and guide us through these days. And most importantly, families can be together forever. My family will be together forever.
