Hi I'm Abigail Fillmore

I was born in Washington, grew up in Pennsylvania. I love serving, helping, and caring for others, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Heavenly Father knew I was searching for him before I even did. He has helped shape me into the young lady I am today. My father grew up in the church but went inactive when he was in his late teens. I might not have grown up with the gospel but I grew up with the same standards.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love Jesus Christ. I love His church, I love this gospel. Heavenly Father knows me so well, sometimes its scary how well! He knows what I need and how to help me before I can ask. He is always there for me and helps me through my hardest times. When I first asked my grandmother for a bible I shocked myself! I had no idea i was going to ask, i didn't even think about it! When she gave me my father's childhood bible i lost it, i cried so hard. that is the moment that i knew i was searching for Him, i just hadn't admitted it yet. When i did admit it, about seven months later i met with the missionaries and was baptized roughly a month and a half later. I have an amazingly blessed life. This gospel is beyond amazing!

How I live my faith

I teach Primary, as a convert it can be changeling at times. Those youngsters know more than i do! But, we help one another and at the end of the day i know i'm in the right place. I visit teach three wonderful elderly women, with my grandmother as my companion. My grandmother is one of the biggest blessings in my life.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Abigail Fillmore
Our families are as important as they are for many reasons. Mostly because we have them forever. We have them to love, to lean on, and to protect. Show more Show less
