Hi I'm Chase Andrus

I grew up in Provo, Utah. I am an Eagle Scout. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a high school graduate and have grown up in the LDS Church in Provo, Utah. I enjoy wood working, skiing, coin collecting and listening to music. I earned my Eagle award in the Boy Scouts of America when I was 16. I attend Brigham Young University here in Provo and I am currently preparing to serve in the Jacksonville, Florida mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints it the restored church. I have read the Book of Mormon many times and I know that it is another testament of Jesus Christ. I have felt his love as I have grown up in the Church. There was a time in my life where I was questioning the Book of Mormon and as clear as day I heard a voice testify to me that a wicked man would not have written the Book of Mormon and a righteous man would only have written it if he were commanded of God. Ever since then have had more and more spiritual experiences like that. I know that this is the restored church on the earth today. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that he translated the Book of Mormon from brass plates written on by ancient prophets here in America. I know that our Heavenly Father will aid us in our moment of need. I love Him and His son, Jesus Christ, so very much for the influence I have noticed in my life.

How I live my faith

As of right now I am not any specific kind of ecclesiastical leader in my community. Even though I am not I do what I can in my neighborhood. I am a firm believer in providing service and I do when I see there is a need for it. I make sure that when I am working on a job for someone, I do it to the best of my ability until the job is done. Many times I have been recruited by the elderly in my neighborhood to help them with yard work or other odd jobs. The feeling I get after providing service is one that uplifts myself and confirms to me that it was the right decision to help.
