Hi I'm Kalei

I grew up in Hawaii. I am a student at BYU. I wrestled and played softball. Iʻm a Mormon

About Me

I am a student at BYU, studying Japanese. I served as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Tokyo, Japan. I am a member of a performing group known as Living Legends which shares the message of the Book of Mormon through Polynesian, Native American, and Latin American culture and dance. My family and I enjoy being outdoors at the beach or playing baseball, wrestling, or riding dirt bikes.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love Jesus Christ and I choose to follow Him. I chose to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I know it is the true Church of Christ. I know with all my heart that the gospel has been restored in its fullness here on the earth and it is through His gospel that my family and I can live together forever. I am so thankful for Jesus Christ and His atoning sacrifice so that my sins can be forgiven and one day I will see Him again. I am a Mormon because I know the Book of Mormon to be another true testament of Jesus Christ alongside the Bible. I am so grateful for the Book of Mormon and how it has helped me to be a better disciple of Christ. I am so grateful to have the knowledge of the gospel and it is my hope that everyone in this world has the opportunity to receive the blessings that come with living the gospel, for there are many.

How I live my faith

As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints I live my life in a way that Heavenly Father would want me to live by following the commandments. I do my best to fulfill my church responsibilities and get to know each of the women that I visit teach. I am now currently serving a full time mission as a representative of Jesus Christ.
