Hi I'm Kaylin

I am from Henderson, Nevada. I love laughing, Dr. Pepper and music. Called to serve in the Tallahassee, Florida and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just graduated high school and about to start serving a full time mission in Florida Tallahassee. I love listening to music, watching movies, laughing, drinking Dr. Pepper and making others happy. My family and friends mean the world to me. I'm a social person and I get a thrill out of helping others. Life is a one in a life time experience and I tend to make the most out of it. When I return home, I plan on attending BYU. "Life is meant to be enjoyed, not just endured." - Gordon B. Hinckley

Why I am a Mormon

During high school I felt lost, sad and confused on why I was here on Earth. I had gone to church every Sunday since I was a kid, but it wasn't until I had hit this low that I realized the true blessings of the church. In the middle of my Junior year of high school, I had a new sense of curiosity on what this church that I had been apart of my whole life was really about. I made the daily commitment to pray at least once a day and to see where that got me. I felt so much peace! Soon, reading my scriptures, paying attention in church and keeping all the commandment did not feel like such a burden. All the loneliness I felt prior, was completely taken over by a sense of happiness and a new perspective on life. I know that Heavenly Father has a true, eternal plan for me that involves me living with him and my family forever. I know that I have a divine, individual purpose on Earth or I would not be here. Being a Mormon has brought me happiness that nothing else on Earth has even been close in comparison.

How I live my faith

I am preparing to serve a full time, 18 month mission in Tallahassee, Florida. I attend church every Sunday and help out where ever I am needed. I read my scriptures daily and pray to my Heavenly Father anytime I need reassurance or guidance. I know he answers my prayers either directly or by others. I try to love all those I meet and realize that we are all children of our Heavenly Father.
