Hi I'm Bonnie

I grew up in a small farming community. I love being outdoors, playing sports, and drama. I'm a Mormon and I love it!

About Me

I was very involved in my high school. Enjoying everything from playing on volleyball and Basketball teams to doing track and field to Tri-school and All-State choirs to Speech and Drama to Horner Roll to Sterling Scholar. It was a very small school so I was able to be involved in all these things. And when I saw small I mean it!! I had nine people in my graduating class. I am going to collage now studying Anthology and enjoying Institute. But that is on hold right now so I can go and serve a mission in San Jose California!! I am so looking forward to serving the Lord

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that its true. The world my look at Mormons as kind of odd and sometimes we are but we also are a strong unit of loving people because we have the fullness of Jesus Christ's gospel here on the earth today and I know it is true. I know that God is a loving Heavenly Father who loves us and has given us, his children, a way to return to him and be happy and Jesus Christ is the center of this plan. The Book of Mormon is another testament of Christ and was brought about by the power of God working through Joseph Smith. I know all this is true because the Holy Ghost has testified of it to me. I am a Mormon because all this is true and I can not turn away from this truth.

How I live my faith

Being in such a small town I was able to do a lot in my community through my church. I did things like help plan activities for the girls my age and teens in my high school. I help with food banks and fundraisers. Like once I raised the money to buy a headstone for a family in town who's father had passed away and didn't have to money to pay for one. I loved to see the town and church work together to get things done and to help people on so many acasens. Then when I left home to go to school I was asked to lead music and teach classes in Sunday School. And now I am going to teach the people on San Jose about this wonderful gospel!
