Hi I'm Jensen

I'm a college student. I play ukulele. I enjoy traveling. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up as a non-member. I found the Church at 16. I joined, it was tough. My friends and family didn't understand my choice. Though I stuck to my decision and it made all the difference. I'm a Brigham Young University now. I'm studying Special Education and close to finishing my degree. I love playing tennis and softball. I play the ukulele and sing. Reading is always enjoyable. Traveling the world is a life long dream. I love life, and I love being a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I felt a sense of belonging when first learning about the Church. I had been searching for something the whole time and when I started to learn about the Gospel, I felt a weight lift off my shoulders and nothing but love and comfort. It felt right, and I felt good about all that I was learning about. I was happy and good. All of the negative energy that I had been fighting because of the choices I had been making previously, disappeared as I was baptized and had the Holy Ghost as a companion. I knew that my Heavenly Father loved me and that was what mattered.

How I live my faith

I live my Faith by being a proud member of the Church. I strive to share my testimony with all that will hear. I share it through not only my words, but my service in the Church and to my community. I am a representative of Christ, so I do my best to be an example like him.

How are the activities of the Mormon missionaries funded?

Missionaries voluntarily decide to serve and out of pocket, pay their way for the opportunity to share the joy that they have found from the Gospel. They do so for a period of 18-24 months, at their own expense because of their love for the Gospel and the Lord. Show more Show less
