Hi I'm Mackenzie Berry

I'm from southern Arizona. I attend Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the oldest of 7 kids. I love my family. I like playing volleyball and basketball. I am involved in leadership activities such as student council and different service associations. I attend Brigham Young University. I also like to read. I've read all the Harry Potter books, the Twilight books, the Hunger Games and many others and I love them. I like to listen to music, especially country, but I also like alternative rock and pop.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in this gospel. I have read the Book of Mormon and found its truths. I have prayed, asked my Heavenly Father many times if the Book of Mormon and this Church is true and I have received my answer. This gospel makes me happy. I can feel my Savior's love when I pray, read my scriptures, or choose the right. I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. I can forget my past transgressions and become a new person through Christ. I am kinder and more understanding of others when I am doing all the right things. I love this gospel because it helps me to be a better person, the kind of person I always want to be. I know that this is the true church, and I am happy to be a part of it.

How I live my faith

I'm involved in many service groups and I love to help others. I'm involved in Peer Mentor and tutoring programs in different areas. I love the Youth program in the Church because it helps me to meet and help new people. We were involved in many service projects such as building a public garden, picking up trash in the park, singing Christmas Carols, making 'help bags' to give to the homeless and those in need.
