Hi I'm Rebekah Griffin

I love our Savior Jesus Christ and I love this His true gospel. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated with an Associate of Art from Pikes Peak Community College, transferred to Brigham Young University - Idaho, and am now taking the time to serve an LDS mission in Washington D.C. I currently volunteer at least twice a week at the local soup kitchen where I get to meet so many amazing people from many faiths. It is such a great opportunity to work as a community and charity to help those in need. My favorite thing to do is study and ponder the scriptures. There is such depth to them that seems to grow each time I read them and share what I have learned with others.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a complete conviction that the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints is the only church that was founded and is led by Jesus Christ and God the Father. It is the only one to posses the priesthood authority and power necessary to perform the ordinances required for full exaltation. It is the only one to rightfully claim prophecy, revelation, the gift of the Holy Ghost, practices in Gods temples, prophets and apostles, and all the other components of the gospel which Christ himself established while he ministered on this earth in the flesh. The reason I can say this with such certainty is because I have obtained witness after witness from the Spirit as He testifies to me of these truths. It is not just my belief, it is not my opinion; it is a sure knowledge more real than anything else in my life. The peace and assurance of this that fills me is from of the Spirit of God and anyone and everyone may feel the same if they sincerely pray and ask for this witness of truth. I promise that If you do this, you will receive that revelation as well, because God has invited all to come to Him through the Gospel of His Son, Jesus Christ. He will give you the witness you need to know in order to follow Him.

How I live my faith

I try to live the covenants I made at baptism to obey the commandments given from God, to always be a witness of our Savior no matter where I am, and to serve and uplift those around me. I love to work in my callings and other church assignments as well as with my community. there is nothing more enjoyable than sharing my testimony with others and spreading the truth of Christs gospel with others.
