Hi I'm Kenny Welling

I was born in Provo Utah, my family lives in Colorado, Im a missionary in Idaho now and Im a Mormon.

About Me

Im a missionary in the Idaho Pocatello Mission. I have been out a year now and love Idaho. I am from Colorado. I love being on a mission (best decision I have ever made). Back home I enjoyed hanging out with friends, eating Taco Bell, going to the movies, basketball, Taco Bell (again), The Office and Star Wars. Especially Star Wars.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in the restoration of Jesus Christs gospel. I believe that Joseph Smith was called of God to restore the Gospel on Earth. I have gained a testimony that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Savior and the Redeemer of the world through the Book of Mormon and The Bible. Christ was sent to pay for our sins, and through him we will can return to live with our Father in Heaven. He lived 2000 years ago. He was crucified and rose from the dead on the third day. He continues to live today. He lives to help us in our trials. He lives because he wants us to return to him and our Father in Heaven. He lives to comfort us. He lives to help us in all we do. He has been there, is there and will always be there when we call on him and seek his help. We are never left alone unaided in our trials because of Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon because of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith in a lot of different ways, whether it is just being nice to someone or trying to find an act of service in every day life, even if it is something as simple as picking up a piece of trash. I try to pattern my life after the way Jesus Christ lived his. While I realize that no one can be perfect like he was, it does not mean that we should not try to be! I believe we should try to be the best person we can possible be at all times. The best way to help people learn more about Jesus Christ is to act like him. Actions speak louder than words!
