Hi I'm Riley A.

I have grown up in Idaho, am going on a mission very soon to Bangalore, India (reporting: Oct. 22), and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I used to not care about the church very much until I had a very rough experience I brought upon myself. Ever since then, I have tried, one imperfect step at a time to do what God wants me to do. I'm the youngest in a family of 8 (Mom and Dad included), am very into anything athletic. I'm no professional at anything, but I do enjoy the outdoors and making people laugh. I am looking to go to BYU and to obtain a doctorate in psychology. I'm no genius, but I'm a very curious person which pushes me to learn.

Why I am a Mormon

I've done some pretty darn bad things in the past, but through the power of repentance, which includes changing, I was able to become happy again. As I live the gospel, I become a happier person: that's why.

How I live my faith

I am currently in the elder's quorum and am loving it. I try to get other people to come to church moderately often. I'm an eagle scout and hopefully a soon-to-be Duty to God earning guy, and all thanks to those who have helped me along the way in the church.

Who founded Mormonism and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?

Riley A.
Jesus Christ is the basis of our belief and was able to use Joseph Smith Jr. as his vessel in bringing the gospel in its fullness to these the latter days. Show more Show less

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Riley A.
He sacrificed his life so he could suffer for our sins. In doing this he was able to take upon him every sin that had been and will ever be committed. Show more Show less
