Hi I'm Parker

I grew up on the west coast of the United States. I have been ordained to serve in the Mexico Cuernavaca mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a new Elder, I love playing sports, serving others, love to listen to and play music, and hope to get a 4-year or higher degree in a medical field. I love the outdoors and summer, especially camping and rafting. I would rather live in the country than in the city.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, but after moving out to the midwest, where the nearest other home was miles away, I felt disconnected from our branch and others in the community. After years of being distant from the church, we moved back to the Northwest, where our family was welcomed by our ward and discovered that I had more of a testimony than I thought I had. I grew up in my teenage years with friends who had an amazing presence in the church and others who were not members. Knowing the two opposites, I found myself happier and closer with the friends I had made in the church. My testimony has grown since that point and I hope to still be connected with those same friends once I return from the mission field, and plan on making new ones as well.

How I live my faith

As a youth, I reached out to others and sought for unity in the quorum and in the ward. I often encourage others to participate in events such as mutual and church, or even just hanging out with others in the church.
