Hi I'm Bradley

I grew up in Utah. I have been a Mormon all my life and I love it.

About Me

I am 18 years old and I have just graduated from high school. I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Some of my skills and hobbies I have acquired throughout my life are mechanics, computers, and outdoors. My father owns a quick lube business and I have been able to learn about how to do oil changes, brake jobs, and other services performed on vehicles. Since being in high school I was in a computer club and I have learned how to program apps for android phones, learn programming language, and learn how to operate computers at a higher level of understanding. I have been in cub scouts and boy scouts all my life and I have learned how to camp in a respectful and safe manner.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up a Mormon and have always had a testimony of the gospel. I have always leaned my testimony on the testimony of my mother and father at a young age. I have also become converted, for myself even though I have been a Mormon all my life. I had a choice of either believing the gospel was true or to believe what I wanted. Everyone has a choice to do what they want to do. I liked the religion that I lived and I observed the different religions of my friends. I liked their religions a lot but I have always felt that for myself personally I liked my religion the most. Not because I grew up in it, but because I found for myself that it is true. Through all the experiences in my life that I have had I came to the conclusion that this church that I am a part of is what I want to be a part of forever. I know that each of its teachings and the blessings and important life lessons that I get from them is what God wants for me. I know that I am a child of god and that everyone else is. I know that we have modern prophets today just like the prophets in the times of bible. They help and guide us through god to do the right things and keep ourselves strong in the challenges of the world. I know that the Savior, Jesus Christ atoned for our sins and that we can all have the chance to repent and be forgiven for them. I know that Book of Mormon just like the Bible is another testament of Jesus Christ and that it can help us become closer to him by reading it and understanding its teachings. My testimony is the most important thing to me, it helps me stay close to things that will help me throughout my life. It will help me be happy and enjoy life as well as being able to be a good person all around.

How I live my faith

I have always been fairly active in my ward. I went each Tuesday night to my church for fun activities with all of the youth and friends in my neighborhood. I went every night from age 12 to the age of 18. These activities helped me gain a lot of friends and helped me have fun for those 6 years. We also did service projects once a month. Some of these projects would include helping at our local food pantry for the homeless, doing yard work for the widows in our ward, and service projects that were needed done by the city council. From the age of 14 to 18 I went visiting home teaching. I went with a companion to different families throughout those 4 years to teach them a short message once a month about our common religion. It was a great experience for me and helped me get to know the adults in our neighborhood and ward. I went to high school for 4 years and each year I took seminary. It was also a great experience being able to take a break from school once a day and learn about my gospel as well as get to know the youth from other wards.
