Hi I'm Marc

I grew up in southern California. I am an Eagle Scout and a soccer fanatic. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have many interests that a lot of people can relate to such as sports, video games, and spending time with family and friends. I love to travel as long as I have someone I can rely on to join. I am a student in Southern California. A lot of people identify me as too optimistic.

Why I am a Mormon

There was always a weird kind of aura about the mormon people. To be honest i had no idea who the mormons were when i was told about it. I later found out that my close friends were part of the church and asked them a few questions. As they answered i felt a burning feeling in my chest, a calm pleasant kind of burning, and I then knew they were unique. I was invited and they always gave my family and I open arms when we came to visit. We have never felt so much joy before and we knew that this was where we needed to be. I testify that the gospel is still a guiding principle in todays world and that every individual has the opportunity to seek it. The blessings that come with faith and endurance are unmeasurable and can truly light the way. I know modern day is difficult to overcome and that sometimes giving in is much easier, however, their is no greater happiness than following the path of righteousness and seeking the Lord's help.

How I live my faith

I was a convert to the church and this is how I was drawn into this joyous, overwhelming community. I was invited by some friends in elementary school to join some of the activities that the church hosted. I joined the missionaries on those days when the younger teens can tag along and it was an amazing experience. I am a terrible teacher, but I have learned more than enough to understand the questions given to me. I try to live the gospel by sharing kindness to others even if its just a "hello how are you" kind of thing and always encourage others to persevere even when times are tough. The Lord does not give us a task that we cannot handle. He has faith in us and I will have faith in him.
