Hi I'm Brenda Marin

I'm Mexican, I'm a musician, I am a missionary and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in Mexico but when I was 14-years-old I moved to the United States. I love MUSIC. Anything music related? I am in! I've been blessed to have a talent to play piano, guitar and violin. I am the oldest of three and I absolutely adore my two youngest siblings. My family is one of my most precious treasures. You can either find me with them, listening to music, or reading a good book. But not right now! Now I am serving a full time mission in St. George, Utah with the privilege of serving at the St. George Temple Visitors' Center.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. My grandfather got baptized a few days after my birth and that's how my family met the church. I'm still in the church because I have seen the change it's made in my family. I can see myself striving to be better because I believe that when we follow the commandments and stick to the guidelines, we will be happy. I can feel the scriptures testifying that what I've learn is true and I know there is no way they were written by just "men", the power of God is present. I know God listens to my prayers and gives me and answer when He knows I need it. Thanks to what I've learned, I know that I will be with my family forever and that is the greatest blessing my Heavenly Father has given me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going out every day to share the Gospel with other people. It's something that has changed my life and I love sharing my testimony with others and helping them change their lives.
