Hi I'm Julie

I grew up in a small town in Maine, I joined the church at 19, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a small town girl, with big town dreams. I went to school, for a brief time, to become an Athletic Trainer. I have a goal to work with a NFL team (hopefully the Patriots. Hey, a girl can dream!) Football is my favorite sport to watch! I plan on serving a full time mission!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Gospel of Jesus Christ makes sense. As a little girl I would sing "Part of Your World" from The Little Mermaid. My favorite line now is "ask them my questions and get some answers…" when I was taking the lessons from the Elders, they were the first people to answer my questions about faith, and what happened after we died. I am a Mormon because I can feel Heavenly Father's love for me as I continue to choose the right. As I set forth to decide what I need to do, and where I need to go I can feel my Heavenly Fathers love and direction. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was the only Church that I found to have constant companionship of the Holy Ghost, and that companionship, the gentle voice in your head, to lead, guide, to provide comfort, peace, and many other things is only found here… with the Restored Gospel of Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by participating in, and planning as many activities, for the Young Single Adults in my area, as I can! I've found that the more you are around people that believe the same things you do the more you can be strengthened by them. Weekly we have a class at our church, in the middle of the week, where we learn more about the scriptures. Together we learn. Together we grow. Together we love. I am a Ward Missionary, which means I am lucky to have the opportunity to go out teaching with the Full Time Missionaries. I love being able to do that because I get to meet new people and share my love of the Gospel of Christ with them.
