Hi I'm Katelin

I'm a daughter, sister, and friend. I love reading and playing sports. And I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I love my family. I'm the oldest of five kids, with two brothers and two sisters. I have curly hair and love to smile and laugh. I enjoy trying to help other people smile and feel loved. Reading is one of my favorite things to do when I'm not watching and playing sports, especially basketball. I also love music! I love listening to country music and playing the piano and the clarinet. But most of all, I love being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and sharing the gospel with others!

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel of Jesus Christ and the plan of happiness are the things that mean the most to me in this life. Knowing that I can be together with my loved ones again after I die helps ease the sting of death. Knowing that I can pray to my Father in Heaven any time and any where and about anything helps me in every aspect of my life. I know that I am a child of God and that Heavenly Father loves each of His children. Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. He is the only Person that truly understands how we feel, all the time. He knows everything about us. I know that because He loves us, He is always there for us and is willing to help us through anything we may be going through. I know that because He loves us, He has restored His Church on the earth again so that we may learn of the fullness of the gospel and become happy. This gospel gives me so much joy and comfort that I couldn't imagine my life without it!

How I live my faith

Every day I try to read my scriptures, and pray to my Father in Heaven. I recognize the things that I have been given and thank my Heavenly Father for them. I realize that I won't be perfect, but that's what the Atonement is for. Through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, I can become clean again if I repent of my sins. Before I came on my mission in Florida, I would play the piano during one of the meetings at church so others could sing hymns of praise. I also used to help little boys that are the age of 9 through the cub scouting program. But now, I serve the Lord every day by serving those around me and trying to help others to come unto Christ.
