Hi I'm Caitlyn

I grew up in Hurricane Utah. I have a total of 10 people in my family. I went to Utah State University for one year. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

A few things about me: I love to play soccer and basketball. I enjoy sewing and cooking. I attended Utah State University for one year after high school. I am now preparing to serve a mission in Tokyo Japan.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family. Therefore I had been brought up in the church and taught the ways of the Lord. I always loved the church and its teachings. When i moved away from home life changed a lot for me. I was introduced to so many foreign ideas and ways of life. I began to lose faith. I started making decisions that were against the churches standards. I had chosen to experience the worldly joy instead of being faithful to my belief and striving for eternal happiness. After some time I had a good friend come talk to me about my recent decisions. He reminded me of the covenants I had made when i was baptized. And also of the happiness and blessings I was putting on the line for things that were not worth that sacrifice. I decided then that I needed to fix the mistakes I had made and be better. I love this church. I love Christ and his example he set for us. I strive to be more Christ-like everyday. I am so much happier when I am obedient to his commandments. I love the happiness I have when I am living the way he has asked us to.

How I live my faith

I am currently called as a primary helper. Every Sunday I get to help teach the children in the ward about Christ and the things he taught in his time on earth. In just a few days I will be leaving to serve a mission in Tokyo Japan for a period of 18 months.
