Hi I'm Elder Watson

I grew up in Kamas, Utah in the United States. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I play the piano, I work for my dad as a laborer. For my Eagle Project I planted trees in my local park. I am currently serving my mission, and depart the MTC on February 3rd for Panama, Panama City for which I will be released on December 6th 2015.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church because my parents went to church, but I payed attention in my quorums, and always tried to understand why my Heavenly Father let his son die for all of us, and all the good feelings that I get doing what he tells me to do helps me keep going. Some things to help you refuse temptation are to take what ever it is that is making you transgress, and get it out of your sight and out of your reach. Also singing hymns, and studying the scriptures will help. One more thing you can do is to go out and work hard, have a good time with friends, or go to family get together. Work is the best antidote for anxiety. I love the church, and love the gospel, and I love the teachings that are found in the Book of Mormon.

How I live my faith

I will be leaving on mission on December 17, 2014 to Panama. I can't wait to go out, and devote two years of my life to the serving of my Heavenly Father. Even though if I were to serve the lord every waking moment of my life I will still not be able to repay my Heavenly Father for all of the blessings he has given me; including my life. I have been in the presidency of all of my Aaronic Priesthood, or in other words the lesser priesthood. I make it a personal goal to read the Book of Mormon every day, and I also go to church sponsored activities that are for the purpose of helping others, but that also have a spiritual purpose for anybody who is involved. I also have a strong desire to go through the temple because it is a great release from the world outside, and be close to my Heavenly Father. I also participate in my classes not only as a missionary, but in church on Sunday's too, and share my opinion with others that may be having a hard time, just need a little moral boost, or I just feel like sharing it.

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?

Elder Watson
Getting your questions answered by someone who really cares about the welfare of your soul is as simple as asking one simple question, and first finding a local member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to ask that question. All you need to is ask them is, "How can I contact the Missionaries." They will be more than happy to answer you, and once you do contact them they will knock on your door to help you and answer your questions. They will do it whole heatedly, and with a great concern for your Eternal Salvation. Show more Show less
