Hi I'm Denise

I am a single mom. I love playing with my kids, laughing, and having fun. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am someone who loves to learn, about pretty much anything. If being a college student could be a profession and pay the bills, that would be me. I also love to learn from those around me. I like meeting new people and learning about their experiences in life. I have been amazed at the strength I see in people because of the experiences their lives have given them. AND, you can never have too many friends. A LARGE part of who I am is a mom. That is WOW upside down!! It is the hardest job I have ever had, but it is also the most rewarding. Some of my favorite parts about being a mom is seeing my 19 year old set and reach goals that make her happy, even when the work gets tough. Or watching my 8 year old play soccer, master the monkey bars, or tell me stories about her friends. My 5 year old just started kindy-garten and she is a fire cracker. She has also mastered the monkey bars, in an effort to be like her big sister. Then there's the 3 year old. He is the comedian in the family. There is not a week that goes by that we don't have a funny story to tell about something he did or said. We love to camp, ride bikes, grow a garden, go swimming, walk, play card games (any game really), read, eat, go on vacations, cook, go bowling, wash the car, and laugh together.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love my Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ. I want to be known as one of His true disciples. I want Him to be able to use my hands to do His work on this earth. It is my belief that through the direct authority and proper administration of Christ's gospel I will one day be allowed to return to them. And, I look forward to being in Their presence again, surrounded by the family I love so much!

How I live my faith

My faith really defines who I am. I pray often. Read scriptures and conference messages from prophets and apostles that are alive today. I attend church meetings weekly. I attend the temple. I seek after things that are virtuous and uplifting. I look for opportunities to serve others and do good.
