Hi I'm Nathan

I was raised in Ogden Utah. I am half Chinese, and half American. I am currently serving a mission in Singapore.

About Me

I have a family of four; I have one younger sibling. My Mom is from Hong Kong, and my Dad is from Utah. We enjoy traveling around the world together. One of our favorite places to go is Yellowstone National Park. Every summer, we will spend family time at our cabin. I spent much of my life focusing my time on learning the violin. I studied under professors at Brigham Young University and Weber State University. I was once a member of the 21-strings quintet in Logan Utah. I loved preparing performances and competitions. I enjoy learning, going hiking, taking pictures, and playing Ping pong. After my mission, I intend on studying business at BYU. I hope to one day own my own business, and at the same time, have a family of my own.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have come to know it is true. When I was young, my dad passed away. I know through the blessings of the gospel, I will be able to see him again. My Father was a great example to me. The Gospel has provided me with a comfort to know that this life is not the end. My Mom did a lot for my family as a widowed parent. She was also a great example to me, and it kept me close to the church. She has taught me how we need to rely on faith, rather than our own personal strength.

How I live my faith

As I have served my mission, I have done all I can to serve the Lord. I spend every day of these two years spreading the Gospel, teaching them how the Gospel of Jesus Christ can help them. I strive to follow the example of Christ by developing Christ like qualities.
