Hi I'm John

I am a husband, father, grandfather, and Quality Engineer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My educational background is in Statistics and Quality and I have worked in the microelectronics industry for many years. I enjoy watching spectator sports and run the occasional 5K myself. I like reading about history and demographics. I've lived in multiple locations across the United States and spent a total of four years living in France. I am a husband and father of four children and grandfather of three. My wife is my best friend and my children and grandchildren are my greatest joy.

Why I am a Mormon

I find that when I do my best to participate in the Church and follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, I have a greater desire to be a better husband, father, grandfather, neighbor, employee, friend, community member, and person. My thoughts and actions are turned outward toward others and their needs as opposed to my own, and I find this liberating. I am an introvert by nature, and participation in the Church has challenged me by giving me the opportunity to reach outside of myself and get to know others on a more personal level. These fostered relationships have blessed and enriched my life tremendously.

How I live my faith

My current service in my local congregation gives me the opportunity to interact with people of all ages, both on a personal as well as on a general level. Regardless of the age, gender, or family situation, I am often amazed and strengthened by the faith and resiliency of those with whom I interact. I am able to visit with members of my congregation in their homes, teach them, and try to meet their needs as best I can.
